Rebecca Zentko, Environmental, Health & Safety Director for Muir Omni Graphics, presented the Muir Recycling Program during the Energy Conservation, Sustainability and Recycling – Stakeholders and Their Strategies that Can Work for You session at the Iowa Illinois Safety Council’s Environmental Conference in Moline, Illinois.
The sessions provided a variety of stakeholders with different perspectives. They had the opportunity to hear first hand from environmental professionals that have developed successful programs to address energy conservation, sustainability and recycling for their facilities. There were discussions from environmental professionals addressing specific approaches, such as Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) and what organizations like Illinois Green Business Association can offer to help business and industry.
